TMDB API Key Setup

You need a free TMDB API key to use Movie Renamer Ultimate. This key allows the application to search for movie metadata and download artwork.

How to get a free API Key

1. Go to themoviedb.org/signup and create a free account.
2. After logging in, go to Settings → API in your account profile.
3. Click "Create" and select "Developer" for the API key type.
4. Fill out the application form (you can use any URL for the website field).
5. Copy your API Key (v3 auth).
6. In Movie Renamer Ultimate, go to Settings and paste your API key into the TMDB API Key field.

Note: Make sure you use the v3 API key, not the API Read-Only Access Token.
